The advanced skin analysis is extremely important because sometimes it is hard to determine skin types just by the feel of the skin. For example, sometimes oily skin can feel and look dry.
Our qualified beauty therapist will use several methods to analysise your skin. One is the use of a Woods Lamp and the other is a Magi Lamp.
A Wood's lamp is an ultra-violet light that sees beneath the skin's surface. It can detect all skin issues, including clogged pores, blemishes, dehydration and sun damage spots that are working their way to the surface. The examination is performed in a dark room, allowing the Wood's light to shine directly on the skin for a few seconds and looking for any changes in colour or fluorescence.
